Romana's Virtual Front Porch
Welcome, Friends!! I've decided to start using my front porch to tell stories in pictures, as well as to post pictures of decorations from the different holidays. So, if you have the time, why don't you come on up and sit a spell. :) As always, tack för besöket!! (Thanks for visiting!!)
Since Easter has already passed, and Marcon39 is coming up, I decided to post a few pics from last year's Marcon.
What better way to start than with a picture of Persephone's mother, Demeter? Sometimes reffered to as 'the happy Goddess of Summertime', she is also the goddess of Corn and of the Harvest.
Ah, this is what I get when I wear a Babylon 5 tshirt to a con that is dominated by Imperial hounds and other shady characters from the Star Wars universe. ;)
The theme for Marcon38 was 'Through the Looking Glass'. Here is the sign that was posted at the door of the Masquarade Ball Saturday night.
Sunday, about 2pm- Rod Roddenberry, son of the legendary Gene Roddenberry, hangs out with some of his Con groupies towards the end of the weekend.
